Anthropic has reached capacity on Claude Startups promotions offering a free year of Claude Team and $1,000 in API credits, according to its FAQ checked October 11. The company says it received hundreds of thousands of applications over several days. Founders who have already claimed the offer can continue using it without change.
Anthropic is re-reviewing all applications and says some application statuses may change. It gives no reopening date for the offers.
Existing members retain the Startup Stack, Applied AI office hours and events. Regular monthly Console API credits remain available to members on Claude Max or Team plans.
The broader program remains open to bootstrapped, pre-seed and venture-backed startups. Anthropic aims to review applications within a week. Startup credits apply to the first-party Claude API through Console, excluding AWS Bedrock and Google Cloud Vertex AI.
