Meta detailed MTIA 300, 400, 450, and 500. It said MTIA 300 is in production, MTIA 400 had completed lab testing, and the later inference-focused generations were scheduled for mass deployment in 2027.

Why it matters

Custom silicon can reduce cost and tune infrastructure to Meta’s workload mix, but every generation still requires memory, packaging, racks, cooling, compilers, and production software.
