Anthropic announced the plugin on September 14, 2026, through the Claude plugin browser. It bundles connectors and workflow skills for client-meeting preparation, follow-up drafts, portfolio-rebalance reviews, estate and tax briefs, and preliminary compliance checks. The product materials describe assistance with research, aggregation and documentation; they do not establish that Claude independently gives investment advice or executes transactions.

Connectors and Enterprise Access

The plugin can connect to custodial, reporting and planning platforms during guided setup. Anthropic lists BlackRock, Charles Schwab, Addepar, Envestnet, iCapital, Orion, Wealthbox, Wealth.com and Zocks among its supported integrations.

Access depends on the firm's licensing and controls. Anthropic recommends its Enterprise tier for registered investment advisers because it includes audit logs for recordkeeping. Firms without an Enterprise agreement must request access. The company says organizations requesting a new Enterprise license before the end of September 2026 will receive a one-time usage credit; that offer is not a general pricing schedule.

Human Approval and Reference-Code Limits

Anthropic's reference repository describes permission boundaries for the workflow layer. Connector-reading subagents are not given connector write or send tools, and the documentation requires advisor approval before an action writes back to an external system. The repository also says generated outputs require independent review and do not constitute investment, legal, tax, accounting, regulatory or compliance advice.

The repository is licensed under Apache-2.0, but it describes itself as a reference implementation that is not actively maintained or monitored. Firms therefore still need to validate connector permissions, audit trails and internal review procedures before linking client accounts. Anthropic's webinar materials also describe advisor approval, audit trails and no training on client data as controls for the intended regulated-firm workflow; those are product claims, not an independent compliance certification.
